A nice pair of 18th century Stockholm made chairs in the original red colour. Most of the red painted gustavian furniture were later overpainted in the more common 19th century white and grey. Thats why its so difficult to find original red painted ones.
This pair is a nice example for 18th century red painted gustavian chairs. The guilding on the rosettes is later.

A very rare pair of childrens chairs from the gustavian period made in Stockholm around 1795.
The leafmoldings made of plaster and glue are original and typical for the chairmaker master Ephraim Stahl who developed that type of moldings in the late 18th Century. This pair is absolute unique !

Set of 3 charming swedish country chairs from around 1680 - 1720.
This set of 3 nearly similar chairs, all from one house in Smaland are pure and rustic in the appearance. The charme of the well worn surface and rests of old colour is fantastic. We used chairs like this also as night stands. The chairs are very stable and solid and ready for everyday use. Dimensions are slightly different
