König Gustav Interiors was founded by Fabian Freiherr von Kap-herr. We started with a little antique shop in the city centre of Hamburg Germany.
Inspired by the lightness of painted swedish 18th century interiors we started to run our business with the trade of period gustavian furniture.
In 2010 we moved with our showroom to a manor house sourrounded by an old park on the south border of Hamburg.
Over the years we have specialized in the trade of 17th and 18th century interiors from Northern Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Belgium.
We offer worldwide shipping.
With the experience of more than 20 years in the trade of antiques we developed a good network with the aim of buying authentic antique furniture straight from the original stocks of old historic houses.
Our priority is finding single objects with a lovely patina and history. Each object is handpicked, careful checked and guarantees an everyday use.
We also care about upholstery work and finding the right fabric hand in hand with our customers.
We offer unique lamps made of historic building materials wich we select from our buying tours.
Each lamp is different and shows the charme of the past centuries. We use just high quality materials (handpatinated brass parts, safety fabric cable and custom made linnen lampshades)
